Dream Generator, 10 minutes, 2013

Dream Generator  is a personal documentary that invites the viewer on a playful tour of one person’s art and an eccentric collection of balls. I made this short video with my dad,  Paul Veerkamp, in the fall of 2013, shortly after he was diagnosed with cancer.  He died on May 18th, 2014; this video stands as a tribute to his creativity and spirit. Dream Generator was presented at the Grassroots Art Center in Lucas, KS in 2016 as part of Man of 5,000 Balls, an exhibition of my dad's art. It screened at the Lid Off Film Festival in Lucas, KS the same year.
