Working on my costume for the parade; packets of pollinator seeds ready to hand out! At Leedle Houme Apiary. Facebook link for S.I. All-A-Buzz here. This is a sketch I made for with and digital and analog looping, sampling and remixing the Dance of the Honeybees.
It's been too cold to work with bees yet, but I've been working on a short experimental film playing dress-up with my bee suit and layering in archival footage of bees. Here are a couple of stills: Last week I had the pleasure of attending this all-day beginner's beekeeping workshop (see posts below). Here are some notes and illustrations. More to come. I'm excited to go to this workshop this weekend!  |
