Honna Veerkamp is a community-oriented artist, documentarian, and educator whose specialties include radio, sound art, experimental video, painting,  and installation. She is particularly interested in the overlaps of these genres. Honna is committed to social justice; her work celebrates creative resistance and helps tell stories that are not widely heard.

Honna completed a Media Arts MFA  at Southern Illinois University in 2015. Her thesis work, Honeybee Collectives, was a creative investigation about honeybees and communities, which  included personal study, documentation, and interactive installations.

Honna is interested in artistic collaborations and is available for freelance work including audio and video editing, media production, writing, and copy editing.
